Plan Your 2022 Rides

It may be January. It may be cold. There may be snow and ice on the ground, but it is not too early to begin planning your ride schedule for 2022! So far, Bike-Walk Alliance has received word that the following amazingly popular bike rides are scheduled to happen in 2022:

Trans New Hampshire Ride – (June 24, 25, 26th) Registration is now open for this fantastic charity ride, now in its 35th season, that raises money for Muscular Dystrophy. You can ride one, two or three days, starting from the northern tip of New Hampshire, that look like this: Fri June 24th = 90 miles (Colebrook to North Woodstock); Sat June 25th = 70 miles, North Woodstock to Concord; Sun June 26th = 60 miles, Concord to Portsmouth. The ride is fully supported and includes meals & SAG support. Learn more on their website here or Facebook page.

Bikes & Beers New Hampshire – (Late July) This popular event will be in its fourth season for 2022. A portion of the proceeds goes to BWANH, so by participating, you are helping BWANH. The start and end location, as well as the ever important after party, all take place at the SmuttyNose brewery grounds in Hampton, New Hampshire. Last year’s event had a live band, food trucks, vendor booths, and one free beer token with your registration. As soon as more details are available, such as the specific date, and how to register, this info will be posted here on the Bike-Walk Alliance web page, or here on the Bikes & Beers page. You can even email the Bikes & Beers folks at info@bikesandbeers.com to join their email list and stay informed.

GSW Seacoast Century – (September 24) This popular ride fills up fast, so if you want in, register as soon as you can. This ride is organized by the Granite State Wheelers, New Hampshire’s largest recreational bike club, and long-time BWANH supporter. This ride has incredibly scenic routes that wander along New Hampshire, Maine & Massachusetts seacoasts. You can sign up for the full century, or opt for the 25, 50, or 65-milers. Stay tuned for updates such as the exact date and when registration will be open on the GSW Facebook page or website. Information on last year’s Seacoast Century Ride can be found here.

Of course, with any luck, lots more rides should be popping up all over the state as the days get warmer and longer. As we learn official details, we will post the information here on our BWANH Events calendar.
