Exciting Movement on the NH Pedestrian Bicycle Plan!

BWANH has heard from Sally Gunn, NHDOT Senior Highway Safety Engineer, that meetings with Alta Planning + Design have been taking place regularly.

Alta found errors in the “Bicyclist’s Level of Traffic Stress” (BLTS) analysis, so once these are corrected they will rerun the Network to reflect the BLTS corrections.

During the week of September 21, 2020, the full CSAC/PAC and all nine RPC’s will receive PDF copies of the revised Network to review and comment. Comments will be due before October 23, 2020.

A virtual CSAC/PAC meeting is planned for the first quarter of 2021 to present the revised Network and draft priority project list. The Draft Pedestrian Bicycle Plan will then be available for review by spring 2021.  It is hoped that a CSAC/PAC meeting can be scheduled to present the Draft Plan with a Q & A session.
