Bikes and Beers Ride 2023

The Bikes and Beers Ride is a cycling event that travels the country in order to promote cycling. The organizers believe in bicycling as a safe, comfortable, and smart choice for transportation and recreation. In order to promote  improvements for bicyclists, the Bikes and Beers Rides travel the country and partner with local advocacy groups. The event organizers create a fun, high-energy atmosphere for cyclists before, during, and especially after (the beer part) of the ride!

The Bikes and Beers – Portsmouth, NH ride will take place on Saturday July 22, 2023. Each year the ride organizers partner with a local advocacy group. This year the Bike Walk Alliance of New Hampshire will be the sole charity partner. This means the organizers will present a portion of overall event proceeds as well as any donations made to the charity raffle, or through the “Donations” button to BWANH.

This year’s ride will start at the Cisco Brewery in the Pease Trade Port, in Portsmouth.  The route will go north through scenic Dover Point near Downtown Dover before continuing to Stratham and Durham (depending on route) before returning to Cisco. There will be a 15, 30 and 45 mile course for riders to choose from.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

As the charity partner, we are required to provide ten volunteers to work registration\setup, post ride, or rest stop assignments at the event. Please consider signing up to volunteer for one of these assignments. If you sign up, please email BWANH at info@bwanh.org to let us know you did. All volunteers will be provided with an official volunteer shirt, free entry into the after-party, a pint-glass package and two beer tickets! Also, volunteers will be provided with a 50% discount code to be used at a future event (there is one in Worcester, MA on August 19th). Please consider signing up at this fun event.  In doing so, you will surely have a great time, and you are helping BWANH.
