NH COMPLETE STREETS COALITION

Bike-Walk partnered with HEAL-NH and Transport NH  to form a coalition that supports local complete streets initiatives as well as a statewide complete streets policy.

The coalition helped pass SB 364 in the spring of 2016, which resulted in a Complete Streets Legislative Study Committee to see what a statewide policy might do for New Hampshire.  The Committee heard testimony from a number of coalition partners in the fall of 2016, and issued a report that can be found here.  Complete Streets legislation incorporating the Committee’s recommendations is expected in the 2017 legislative session.
