CommuteSmart Statewide Challenge

This May, organizations across the state are competing to log the most sustainable trips to work while earning individual rewards and a shot at raffle prizes. It’s a great way for organizations to work towards sustainability goals and promote comradery. Use any mode of transportation other than driving alone and track it in the trip logger to participate. Telecommute (work from home), bike, walk, skateboard, scooter, carpool, vanpool, use transit, or any combination of these and much more during the month to participate in the challenge!

Participants use the online trip logger or mobile app to log in and track a sustainable trip during May to be a participant of the challenge. This challenge is organization-based, so a “commute profile” must have a current employer listed, and encourages co-workers to also log their trips for an even better shot at winning!

The challenge runs from May 1st through the 31st. You can log any trip to work or home in any mode other than driving in a vehicle alone such as walking, biking, transit, carpool, telecommuting (working from home), or any combination of these options. Compressed workweeks can also be counted as participants are still reducing the number of trips driving alone to work.
