Bike Safety Quiz for Bicyclists

Take the bicyclist’s safety quiz! Think you know a lot about being a safe cyclist? Take the Bike Safety Quiz below and see how many you get right.

  • Bicyclists must stop for pedestrians in a crosswalk? (ANSWER)
  • Bicyclists may pass cars stopped at a crosswalk?  (ANSWER)
  • Bicyclists may, at times, drive against traffic and travel the opposite way on one-way streets?  (ANSWER)

Bike Safety Quiz for Motorists

Take the driver’s safety quiz for operating a motor vehicle safely with bicyclists on the road. See how many you get right.

  • In order to safely and legally pass a bicyclist, motorists may cross the unbroken painted line (including a double yellow center line) when it is safe to do so.    (ANSWER)
