ADVOCATES SUE STATE & FHWA OVER RAIL TRAIL SPAGHETTI PLAN
Update August 27, 2024: On Monday August 26th, rail trail advocates, in partnership with the Rails to Trails Conservancy, officially filed a lawsuit against the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) for the purpose of restoring the original plan to build an approximately 100-foot long tunnel along the original historic Derry Rail Trail corridor as part of the Derry Exit 4A construction project.
