GSW Offers $25,000 in Grants

The Granite State Wheelers (GSW) bicycling club is pleased to once again offer a grant program. Up to ten $2,500.00 grants will be awarded in the spring of 2022 to NH-based bicycling organizations. These grants will be awarded to New Hampshire projects throughout the state that focus on promoting bicycle safety.The GSW Board will determine the ten 2022 winners. If you or your organization are interested in applying for one of these “micro-grants”, simply submit the following information no later than Friday, April 8, 2022. The application must be submitted in PDF format on your organization’s letterhead. Use additional sheets to provide your answers and number each response according to the listed item, education, and ridership expansion.

Supplemental letters of support for any project are welcome and will be considered in the approval process. Grant recipients will be required to submit a brief, final report.

2. Organization type
3. Date organization formed
4. Organization mission statement
5. Communities served
6. Group chairman/president and contact information (address, phone & email)
7. Secondary contact person (position, address, phone & email)
8. Does your organization have its own registered NH name and bank account? (Mandatory)
9. Description of project: Describe in 500 words or less.
10. How does your project contribute to safety, education, or increased bicycling in NH?
11. How will you measure the success of your project?
12. Do you have any other donors for your project? (Clubs & youth groups, local businesses)
13. How will you recognize Granite State Wheelers for the grant?
