2023 People for Bikes City Ratings Include 9 NH Cities and Towns

Each year, People for Bikes compiles City Rankings.  This program evaluates, identifies, and compares more than 1,500 cities for biking.  The scores are generated using the Bicycle Network Analysis, looking at 6 factors: safe speeds, protected bike lanes, reallocated space for biking and walking, intersection treatments, network connections, and trusted data.

The rankings help city leaders to decide improvements in order to make bicycling safer and better for everyone in the communities.

Nine NH cities and towns were rated in this list.  These include Hooksett, Lebanon, Manchester, Keene, Concord, Nashua, Milford, Portsmouth, and East Merrimack.
