Rural Multimodal Networks Workshop

Bike-Walk board member Phil Goff has generously agreed to teach a workshop on the Federal Highway Administration’s Small Town and Rural Multimodal Networks Guide, produced by Phil’s employer, Alta Planning + Design.  This workshop is a joint effort of Bike-Walk and the NHDOT Bicycle-Pedestrian Advisory Committee and will be held at the NH Department of Transportation on June 7th from 9:00 to 11:30 am.

The event is free, but space is limited to 50 people, and registration is required, so act soon!

If you want your local roads designed with pedestrians and bicyclists in mind, do all you can to get your town officials (planners, engineers, DPW, select board, etc.) to attend this workshop so they can see for themselves why it makes sense to design roads that accommodate all users right from the start, even in rural locations.

You can right-click on the image below to download a flyer to share with your town hall.  Have them navigate to the registration link above by visiting BWANH.org and clicking on NEWS.
