The League of American Bicyclists has just declared Hanover a Bronze Level Bicycle Friendly Community. According to the brochure, that means Hanover “welcomes cyclists with trails, bike lanes, share the road campaigns, organized rides, Bike to Work Day events” and more. Have a look at their report card.
Hanover joins three other Bronze Level communities in New Hampshire: Keene, Concord and Portsmouth. We also have a Gold Level Bicycle Friendly Business here in our state, S&W Sports in Concord, as well as a Bronze Level Business: U.S. Forestry Sciences Lab in Durham. Overall, New Hampshire is ranked 27th most bicycle friendly state. We can do better than that with your voice and your support. Click here for ways you can help.
